FC VICTORIA ALUMNUS ROCKS WITH DEBUT CD
It was not that long ago it seems when Monica Rossa trained and performed with FC Victoria's Summer Teams. She was all smiles then and she's beaming now as the newest Indie Rocker on the scene. Her debut CD, appropriately named Monica Rossa has just  been released.

"I've grown up and now officially hooked on caffeine", writes the rocker. She thanks God, her family and her professional partners as she words it, "None of this would be possible without you talented people guiding me through as I blindly stumbled through each obstacle".

The soccer playin' musician, singer, songwriter teamed up with local rocker, Matthew James who produced the twelve track offering recorded at The Audio Garage on Discovery Street.

FC VICTORIA SUMMER TEAMS GRADUATE SIGNS NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

REID FRASER TO JOIN ELEVENTH RANKED NCAA DIV 1 UCSB GAUCHOS
FC Victoria Summer Teams standout, Reid Fraser inked his signature on a national letter of intent last week with the University of California Santa Barbara Men's Soccer team. He will commence his Freshman season this fall in the beautiful coastal city north of Los Angeles.

It doesn't seem so long ago that Reid earned a tryout and youth academy contract with Sheffield Wednesday of the Championship League through his development at FC Victoria.

FC VICTORIA GIRLS ARE SCORING OVERSEAS

Former FC Victoria Gorge Premier Women's stalwarts are living their soccer dreams and making names for themselves in the FA Premier Women's Soccer League. Carey Gustafson and Liz Hansen have parlayed their soccer development in Victoria into professional contracts with Newcastle United and Doncaster Rovers respectively.

"I am impressed with the initiative of both Carey and Liz in seeking professional playing opportunities overseas", noted Dave Dew, Technical Director for FC Victoria. "Both players have settled in quite nicely".

FC VICTORIA PRODUCT ON FIRE IN PRE-SEASON FIXTURES
Sheffield Wednesday Owls are gearing up for the 2007/08 FA Premier Academy League. The league represents the top level of youth football in England featuring teams from the Premiership and Football League clubs.

FC Victoria product, Reid Fraser has lit up the score sheet in the Owls first two pre-season matches on tour in Northern Island. He has come on as a second half substitute in both games scoring goals versus Cliftonville on Tuesday in a 2-0 victory and then scoring the tying marker earlier today versus Linfield, 2-2.

ALI BOTTERELL INTERVIEWS WITH FOOT 10 MAGAZINE
FC Victoria's Ali Botterell has been missing from the local soccer scene since this past September. While she may have missed the rains that could have floated Noah's Ark, and the snow that closed our soccer fields, Miss Botterel has been living in France perfecting her French in the classroom and on the soccer fields.

Mr. Patrick Blond, a contributor to Foot 10 Magazine interviewed Ali and featured her in Issue #14.
