Marv Diercks, President of FC Victoria and Dave Dew, Technical Director have assembled a quality team of professionals and individuals that assist in the delivering of the finest player development program on Vancouver Island.

MARVIN DIERCKS
President

Marvin has been a coach and teacher in the Greater Victoria area for over 30 years. He has coached boys and girls from ages 5 to 18 and nine seasons in the Men's First Division of the Vancouver Island Soccer League (Oak Bay, Gorge, Vic West). In 2000 he served as Head Coach of the Pacific Sport Coyotes U-21 Men, Playoff Champions of the Umbro-86ers Development League. As a BC Soccer Association Staff Coach and Course Conductor he has worked with coaches and players from across the province for over 10 years. He has also served as President of the Gorge Soccer Association (Victoria, BC) and the National Soccer Coaches Association of Canada (NSCAC). Marvin possesses a National B License coaching certification and a Masters of Education degree from the University of Victoria.

DAVE DEW
Technical Director

A full time career coach for over a decade, Dave is a nationally recognized leader in coaching development and women's soccer. He most recently served from 2001 - 2003 as the Head Coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps professional women's team (W-League) and as a Canadian National Women's Program staff coach. He has represented Canada as Assistant Coach of the Canadian Women's World Cup Team at the 1995 Women's World Cup in Sweden and as Head Coach of the Canadian National Women's U16 and U17 Teams (2001 - 2002). Dave is a Master Coach for soccer at the National Coaching Institute (NCI) in Victoria, responsible for supervising and guiding candidates on the year long Level 4 B License National Coaching Certification Program. Dave is currently the Head Coach for the Gorge Soccer Association in Victoria, is an assistant coach for the University of Victoria Vikes Women's team and head coach of the Gorge Premier Women's team. David possesses a Level 4, National B License coaching certification.
