Cassandra Zinkowski, B.Sc. C.A.T.
,
a.k.a. Sandy, joined the FC Victoria Athletic Therapy team in the spring of 2007. She brings a wealth of sport specific experience to FC Victoria having worked with our National u20 Women's Soccer Team the past four years.
Cassandra is a Vikes field hockey alumnus and a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from Sheridan College with a Diploma in Sport Injury Management.
She is a soft tissue release provider which is used to treat many aliments such as tendinitis, muscle strains, ligament sprains, facial tightness and nerve entrapment.
Cassandra continues to further her education with a number of courses in manual techniques such as strain counter strain, muscle energy, cranial sacral therapy and others.
She has worked with Camosun College and University of Victoria sports teams as well the Women’s U-20 National Soccer program for the last four years.
She believes that with proper treatment in addition to education and guidance, an
individual’s optimal level of health and satisfaction can be achieved.
