The popular "Kicking In" Community Sponsorship program will be made available for families participating in the Summer Teams Program again this year. This grass roots fund raising program provides families an opportunity to recoup a portion or all of their costs in relation to fees paid for the FC Victoria summer season.
Last year, this program generated over $20,000 in
sponsorship for our youth players in cash and or in kind contributions from
businesses and individuals throughout Vancouver Island.
Marv Diercks, President of FC Victoria will coordinate a meeting of parents interested in participating in this program at a time to be determined in April. All logo's and copies of the sponsorship form must be
submitted by May 31st. Posters will be printed and are intended to be ready for
distribution by the first week of July.
A cover letter and sponsorship application form will be made available at the April meeting. Posters from last year are available to assist with marketing the program from Marv Diercks.
